Internet Sales Specialist

Central Auto Group is looking for BDC Representatives!

The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative is a technically savvy individual who understands computers, the internet, and other technologies and who can communicate in a clear efficient way. BDC Rep's are responsible for lead generation activities in support of the company's sales department goals. Essential duties and responsibilities include driving traffic for the sales department by setting appointments for prospective customers, making inbound and outbound calls, updating customer information, following up on customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction and any other duties that may be assigned.

The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and/or college degree, or relative work experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (Good verbal skills and a clear speaking voice). Must be comfortable with computers and technology systems. Must have the drive and desire to meet production goals and expectations. Effective time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

Automotive Service Writer/Advisor Job Responsibilities:

Initiates automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested. Verifies warranty and service contract coverage. Develop estimates, write repair orders, and maintain customer rapport and records.

Automotive Service Writer Advisor Job Duties:

  • Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
  • Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
  • Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
  • Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
  • Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
  • Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Automotive Service Writer Advisor Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous Job Experience Required
  • ADP /CDK experience a plus but will train the right candidate
  • Must posses a valid drivers licence and pass a MRV report.

  • Delivers and familiarizes the customer with vehicle
